Hi guys. I just recieved my interceptor 06 together with a virtueboard.

I opened up the grip, and found out that it wont fit. because the guys at virtue put something on the backside of the board. Where the piece of aluminium seperates the battery from the board.

So my question is:
Do i have to mill this thing or have i got the wrong board?
Its says NME on the box.

Anyone?

forgive me för my bad english!

Nevermind!

A minor "saw job" took care of it.

So dumb that they havent thougt about that. Dipswitch 1-2 are misplaced on the board for perfect fit!

Yeah...I had to do a little dremel work to mine also to get my virtue to fit, but I have notice that they produced two different versions of the NME board where the dip switches are located in a different area of the board so some people don't even have to cut anything. Unfortunately I got the version that needed the cut.

OK.

the first time I started the marker with virtue in it, it didnt cycle at all.
I need to set the dwell at 12 to get it going. Maybe I´ll try to set it a little bit lower as time goes on. the funny thing is that on my was board I saw that dwell was on 8ms. Hmmm?
Maybe was board an virtue board havent same time units or a small calibration problem?

Anyway it works now!
And I must say I like the marker a lot. I´ve been playing timmys, egos, angels and I own a quest. But theres something with the alien that makes you love it =). Lower kick than other guns with that type of bolt-system. Shoots straighter than guns in that genre´s

Nice.

The dwell isn't the same from board to board for whatever reason - maybe its the power output of the board? But, I've heard that the dwell on virtues end up being higher than what was seen in the equalizer boards, so IMO thats normal.

The straight shot is the most controversial thing about Alien guns... what you are seeing is the sweep bolt and the sweep valve in action. Most people say its hype or that you cannot say you get a flatter shot merely from personal observation (implication being your eyes lie to you). Those of us with experience with a lot of other markjers have the proper reference point and notice the marker's "virtues" a lot more.

BTW, what barrel and paint were you using when you noticed how the gun was shooting?

I was shooting ultra evil with .691 JJ egde barrel. The original barrel was to tight. I´ll be shooting hellfire at sunday for more testing of the sweep bolt system.

Hopefully hellfire is smaller so i can use my dye titanium or the alien barrel.

Have a nice day.

Try out the Alien invasion barrel. I think you might be impressed with the performance of stock.
