for timmies I always thought Dow 55 was preferred with Dow33 as the runner-up. Tri-flow was used on the bolt, but certainly not for lubing any internals.

Anyway, even if I'm wrong on the above where Intimidators are concerned, you should use what the manufacturer recommends - 100% synthetic lubricant such as AKA Extreme, KC-Trouble Free (blue bottle) or PMI.

I haven't heard of Tri-flow being used in Interceptors but if I were you I'd just shoot some AKA throught the marker from time to time.

It seems that the battle of the synthetic greases rages on. One of the beauties of the Aliens is that you can avoid all those complicated questions by using an AlienPB recommended synthetic oil. I'm still shooting a drop or two of AKA Extreme Lube into my Aliens from time to time with no ill effects. If you choose to use this simple method, it has been recommended on the AKA board that you thoroughly clean the LPR and HPR to remove any greases that may have been left behind by a previous owner. That way the solids that greases contain can't migrate into the solenoid and cause gunk.
